Appendix A. Supported image formats.

ImageFuser basically uses the builtin image capabilities of Apple for reading images.
It uses enfuse to write images.

[1]: If your camera is in the list, but it's not supported by ImageFuser, please let me know. I will add it to the supported list or try to figure out what's going wrong.

[2]: When Apple creates support for a RAW imageformat it uses the profiles belonging to that camera and it generally does a very good job. Please keep in mind though that propietary software from the camera manufacturer might use "undocumented" features that will generate better results than ImageFuser (actually MacOSX). In this case you can better preconvert your RAW images with the proprietary software to one of the other supported input formats.
